Studio Policies
CLASS PLACEMENT
If requested, the school faculty will meet to discuss the student’s progress and/or placement. Placement decisions are derived from many years of teaching experience. Placement is highly individual, and the factors that influence decisions are complex. The director decides to make changes. All changes will be discussed with the Parent(s)/ Guardian(s). If you have questions or concerns about your child’s dance education (such as progress or class placement), please discuss them with the director.
WITHDRAWAL FROM CLASSES
If I decide to stop any or all lessons before the end of this agreement, I acknowledge that I need to provide a 30-day written notice through the studio email, cssdancestudio@gmail.com. IF I FAIL TO NOTIFY Coles Shining Stars Dance Studio, LLC 30 DAYS BEFORE THE 1ST OF THE MONTH that I wish to discontinue lessons, I will be billed for that month. Simply not attending a class does not count as canceling or dropping the class. Charges will continue to apply to the card on file until I officially withdraw or drop. To complete this process, I must communicate with the front office. If I have any outstanding balance, after dropping the card on file, it will be automatically charged.

DISCIPLINE POLICY
To maintain a healthy, professional environment, students are taught the importance of being a part of a team. We encourage students to respect other students, the teachers and staff, and studio property, and we foster the development of good habits and compliance with rules of conduct. Our staff and faculty are trained to use constructive discipline techniques to maintain classroom discipline and handle individual misbehavior.
MEDICAL INFORMATION
Parents must notify the director/and or teachers regarding children who have allergies, use an inhaler, or may require medications during their time at the studio. It is also essential to inform the director and/or teachers about your child’s existing medical conditions or learning disabilities during registration and throughout the school year. Our teachers are excited to work with all children and personalities, and the more we know about your child, the better the dance experience will be for all involved. All information about our students is confidential.
